About Us

Clarity Neuropsychology is a private practice that provides evaluation and consultation services for very young children through adults. We evaluate for a host of referral questions ranging from neuropsychiatric concerns to traumatic brain injury with an emphasis on neurodevelopmental disorders such as autism, ADHD, and learning disorders. We also see adult clients for specific evaluations including autism, ADHD, traumatic brain injury, and cognitive impairment. 

Evaluations at Clarity are comprehensive and thorough. We strive to answer your family’s questions by understanding each client’s unique set of strengths and areas of difficulty in order to provide effective and informed guidance regarding diagnoses, education/vocational planning, and behavior management. We do not use overly-clinical jargon in our reports. Instead, we discuss each client’s results in easy-to-understand terms using real examples of how to target areas of difficulty in order to make life easier and more enjoyable. 

Meet Dr. Theobald

Dr. Azlen Theobald is the founder of Clarity Neuropsychology and a formally trained neuropsychologist who is passionate about working with children, adolescents and adults with various neurodevelopmental or cognitive conditions. She is a licensed psychologist in Pennsylvania and New Jersey.

Her areas of expertise include Autism Spectrum Disorders, Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Traumatic Brain Injury, Learning Disorders, Intellectual Disability, Developmental Delays, Neuropsychiatric concerns, and a range of other neurodevelopmental /neurocognitive disorders.

Dr. Theobald received her undergraduate degree from the Pennsylvania State University, graduating Summa Cum Laude, followed by Masters and Doctoral degrees in Clinical Psychology from LaSalle University. She completed training at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, an APA-accredited internship at Terry Children's Psychiatric Center, and a two-year postdoctoral fellowship in neuropsychology.
